Givaudan to showcase cognitive health innovations at Vitafoods Europe 2026
Wednesday, 11 March, 2026, 16 : 00 PM [IST]
Geneva, Switzerland
Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing will highlight its latest science-backed innovations focused on cognitive and holistic wellbeing at Vitafoods Europe 2026. The company will invite visitors to explore a range of advanced nutraceutical ingredients designed to support brain health, mental focus, and overall wellbeing.

Growing consumer interest in cognitive health is driving innovation in the supplement industry. According to recent insights, cognitive-related search terms have increased by an average of 156 percent between 2021 and 2024. At the same time, new supplement launches featuring brain and mood benefit claims are steadily rising. Givaudan’s proprietary research further reveals that 71 percent of consumers believe maintaining mental focus during physical activity improves performance, highlighting the strong connection between cognitive support and active lifestyles.

“Consumers are increasingly looking for natural solutions that help them think clearly, perform better, and maintain balance,” said Timothée Olagne, Head of Marketing, Health & Functional Business Unit at Givaudan. He added that the company aims to combine scientific expertise, formulation capabilities, and flavour innovation to create enjoyable wellbeing experiences.

A key attraction at the company’s booth will be an interactive driving simulator showcasing new research on Cereboost. The simulator replicates a study conducted with race car drivers and demonstrates how the clinically substantiated ingredient may support cognitive performance, attention, and mood.

In addition to Cereboost, the company will present a wider wellbeing portfolio including Zensera, a lemon balm extract supporting cognitive performance under stress; Lifenol, a hops extract that supports comfort and bone health during menopause; Pacran for urinary tract health; and Svetol, a green coffee extract aimed at weight management and metabolic health.

Visitors will also be able to sample innovative product concepts such as gummies, instant beverages, and protein powders incorporating these ingredients.

Additionally, Givaudan experts Romain Le Cozannet and Elena Sava will present new findings on Cereboost’s effects on sports performance at the New Ingredients Theatre during the event.
