Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing to spotlight cutting-edge cognitive health solutions at Vitafoods Europe 2026
Friday, 20 March, 2026, 16 : 00 PM [IST]
Geneva, Switzerland
Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing has announced it will showcase its latest science-backed innovations for cognitive and holistic health at Vitafoods Europe 2026. The global leader aims to address the surging consumer demand for mental clarity and performance, noting that cognitive-related search terms have spiked by an average of 156 percent since 2021.

A central highlight of the showcase is Givaudan’s proprietary research on Cereboost, which explores the link between cognitive support and physical performance. The company found that 71 percent of consumers believe staying mentally focused during physical activity directly improves results. To demonstrate this, Givaudan will feature an interactive driving simulator used in clinical studies with race car drivers, allowing visitors to experience how the ingredient supports attention and mood.

“Consumers are searching for natural solutions that help them think clearly and feel balanced,” said Timothée Olagne, Head of Marketing, Health & Functional BU at Givaudan. “We are excited to show how our science and flavor creativity deliver truly enjoyable wellbeing experiences.”

Beyond cognitive health, the company will present an expanded portfolio including:
  • Zensera: A lemon balm extract for stress-related cognitive support.
  • Lifenol: A hops extract for bone health during menopause, which recently received the Vitafoods’ Innovation Award.
  • Pacran: A whole cranberry blend for urinary tract health.
  • Svetol: A green coffee extract for metabolic health and weight management.
Givaudan will also demonstrate its formulation expertise through concept samples such as "Focus Bites" (gummies) and "Zenshot" (instant drinks), showcasing how these functional ingredients can be integrated into consumer-friendly formats.

In 2025, Givaudan reported sales of CHF 7.5 billion and employed over 17,500 people worldwide. The company remains committed to its long-term vision of driving health and happiness through natural, purpose-led growth.
