Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru will celebrate Durga Puja and Mysuru Dussehra with a series of curated festive dining experiences at its all-day dining restaurant, CUR8. The celebrations will showcase the culinary traditions of Bengal and Karnataka through regional specialities, interactive food stations and festive menus.

The Durga Puja festivities, scheduled from October 17 to 19, will bring the flavours of Bengal to Bengaluru through a themed dining experience titled ‘Kolkata on Your Plate’. The celebrations will culminate on October 20, with a special Mysuru Dussehra lunch inspired by Karnataka’s royal heritage and the traditions of the Wodeyar dynasty.

Chef Soham Dhar, chef de cuisine at CUR8, will lead the culinary programme. Originally from Kolkata, he specialises in regional Indian cuisine and has curated menus that combine traditional recipes with contemporary presentation.

The Durga Puja experience will feature Bengali classics such as Kosha Mangsho, Cholar Dal and Basanti Pulao. Guests can also explore dedicated food stations, including a Pandal Chaat Counter, Thakur Bari Rannaghor, a Kolkata Fish Fry Station and an interactive Bengali Grill Counter.

The seafood selection will include regional delicacies such as Bhapa Ilish and Chingri Malai Curry, highlighting Bengal’s rich culinary traditions. The experience will conclude with a Sweet Alley featuring traditional Bengali confectionery, including Rosogolla, Mishti Doi, Mihidana, Pantua and Kheer Kadam.

CUR8 will host a Mysuru Dussehra lunch celebrating Karnataka’s diverse food heritage and the grandeur associated with the State’s iconic festival. The menu will feature regional favourites such as Mylari Dosa, Benne Dosa, Bisi Bele Bhaat, Maddur Vada, Mangalore Buns and Bamboo Biryani. Traditional sweets, including Obbattu, Chiroti and Mysore Pak, will complete the festive spread.
