Foodsmart expands executive team with leaders to advance foodcare nationwide

Foodsmart announced the addition of three accomplished executives to its leadership team: Alan Gao as chief technology officer, Jennifer McGuire as chief customer experience officer, and Ned Schwartz as chief financial officer. These additions mark a pivotal step in its mission to make healthy eating accessible, affordable, and personalised for every American.

As part of this evolution, co-founder Milo Krastev, who previously served as CFO and head of growth, will now focus fully on driving growth and expanding its footprint. His deep understanding of the business, market, and mission will continue to play a pivotal role as it scales its foodcare platform that combines tele-nutrition, food-as-medicine benefits, and personalised grocery access.

Kurt Knight, chief executive officer of Foodsmart, said, "Our new leaders bring the expertise and vision needed to match the scale of the opportunity before us. Jennifer McGuire, Chief Customer Experience Officer, has more than a decade of leadership tenure in healthcare client experience, serving most recently as VP of Customer Experience at Henry Schein One and SVP of Customer Experience at Amwell. In these roles, she oversaw large-scale client relationships, streamlined internal operations, and delivered measurable engagement and satisfaction outcomes. McGuire will lead Foodsmart's Implementation, Client Development, Marketing, and Member Support functions—aligning them under a unified strategy to deliver exceptional value to health plan partners, providers, and members.
