Ferrero India’s confectionery brand Kinder Joy has introduced two new collections - the Land of Sweetopia range for girls and Speed Tuners cars for boys.

According to a press release issued by the company, the new range of toys, designed in-house, among other fun surprises will have fairies, unicorns and one sunflower bracelet for girls and the boys will have a range of speed cars in different colours and form. The range will be available in all traditional and modern trade outlets across India.

A Ferrero India spokesperson said, “Our current new range of surprises – Land of Sweetopia & Speed Tuner - has been developed in-house with the support of a thorough study and research of our consumer requirements. This new range communicates the perfect essence of the brand’s creative of ‘Imagination ko Jodo’- where each surprise toy stimulates a child’s imagination bringing alive the magical world of the surprises making it a playful and memorable experience for the child.”

The brand recently introduced an innovative platform for storytelling called ‘The Kinder Joy Story Station,’a mobile storytelling platform wherein parents and children can listen to engaging stories. They need to simply give a missed call on a toll free number – 1800 200 4321 after which they will get a call back on their mobile phones from Kinderino (the brand mascot).

Children can then select from a range of nine stories which revolve around the surprises from the new range. Each story will be for approximately 3-4 minutes and will be available in seven languages – English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The storytelling activity will go live from May 2016 onwards with these new stories.

“We have also aimed to reintroduce and revive the art of storytelling through our mobile story station initiative. Through this, we want to provide some quality bonding time between children and parents. This initiative has been well appreciated and been awarded locally and internationally,” the spokesperson added.
