Equinox Labs back with Season 2 of Food Safety Month based on five themes

fiogf49gjkf0d fiogf49gjkf0d Equinox Labs is back with Season 2 of Food Safety Month from April 7 to May 7, 2016. Revolving around ‘Food Safety,’ the month is divided into five themes – Personal Hygiene, Food Storage, Food Processing, Cleaning and Sanitation and Packaging and Labelling.
With Season 2, the lab plans to take a step forward in food safety awareness in India and do better on the various events and functions, according to a press release issued recently.
The Food Safety Campaign is an opportunity to spread awareness about importance of food safety & thereby engage manufacturers, retailers, colleges, corporate, food & beverages and the public in this initiative. This has urged a worldwide chorus for improving and monitoring food safety and allows it to take precedence for a healthy living.
This is what Ashwin Bhadri, CEO, Equinox Labs, has to say about Season 1, "Season 1 saw a staggering response with the involvement of 5,000 FBOs, 14,000 participants and 20,000 downloads of resources. This year, we have challenged ourselves to exceed our own expectations and we are confident of achieving our set targets and accomplishing widespread food awareness with 10,000 FBOs, 28,000 participants and 50,000 downloads as our campaign goals. “
Bhadri adds, “Each week will talk on how every process can contribute towards achieving our motto - Food Safety. We urge you to join this initiative and support the nationwide need for food safety and monitoring. While we engage and participate in this campaign, let's keep in mind how imperative the availability of safe food is!"
