DCGpac, a leading B2B packaging and procurement solutions company, has inaugurated its first smart manufacturing plant in Noida, marking a significant step in its strategy to build a technology-driven, sustainable, and globally integrated packaging ecosystem. The 20,000 sq. ft. facility began commercial production recently with an initial manufacturing capacity of 250 tonnes per month and provisions for rapid scale-up.
The new plant represents DCGpac’s strategic backward integration into manufacturing, enabling greater control across raw material sourcing, production, quality assurance, fulfilment, and global distribution. The facility has been established under a five-year strategic partnership with UKHI, a global material science company specialising in 100 percent biodegradable and compostable raw materials. This collaboration supports DCGpac’s long-term investment commitment towards sustainable packaging innovation.
Designed to serve export-grade packaging requirements, the smart manufacturing plant will produce sustainable solutions for eCommerce, quick commerce, logistics, retail, and D2C brands. The products will cater to domestic demand as well as international markets including the UK, Germany, Australia, and the Middle East. Equipped with advanced extrusion, printing, sealing, and finishing machinery, the facility also houses an in-house quality control laboratory to ensure regulatory compliance and consistent performance across global markets.
DCGpac clarified that the manufacturing initiative is strategic and complementary, and does not replace its existing vendor and partner ecosystem. Instead, it enhances the company’s ability to accelerate innovation, ensure uniform quality standards, and support global customers, while continuing close collaboration with its nationwide and international manufacturing partners.
With the launch of this plant, DCGpac has completed its full vertical integration framework, spanning sustainable raw material sourcing, in-house manufacturing, quality assurance, fulfilment, and international logistics. This is further strengthened by RePac, the company’s circular economy initiative focused on recycling and reuse of packaging materials. Commenting on the development, Suresh Bansal, founder, DCGpac, said the facility is a cornerstone in the company’s sustainability-first vision, enabling faster scaling and delivery of future-ready packaging solutions worldwide.
Looking ahead, DCGpac plans to establish a network of smart manufacturing facilities over the next five years. The combined investment by DCGpac and its partners is expected to exceed Rs 100 crore, aimed at building a resilient, distributed, and future-ready manufacturing ecosystem to support growing domestic and global demand.
