Customised nutrition company Food Darzee commences operations in Pune

Food Darzee, the health and nutrition company which personalises customers’ food as per their nutritional requirements, has recently commenced its operations in Pune. This expansion has been planned by its young team post an overwhelming response received from their launch in Mumbai since 2017. Food Darzee offers its services all across Pune.
Currently priced at Rs 223 per meal, the total cost of a 30-day subscription is Rs 26,775. Guests are given the option of choosing from a three-, 12-, 30- and 60-day subscription basis their requirement.
Food Darzee serves its customers four meals a day and delivers their orders twice a day - breakfast and lunch with the morning delivery and a snack and dinner with the afternoon delivery.
Currently, Food Darzee offers customers three different choices of meal options, namely the Ketogenic Diet, Flexi Meal Plan and the Low-Carb High-Protein Diet. These diets are recommended to customers basis their dietary preferences and fitness goals.
The USPs of each of the diets are as listed below:
Ketogenic Diet: This is a high-fat, moderate-protein diet with minimal carbohydrates. This is prescribed to customers who would like to lose weight in a short span of time.
Flexible Eating Plan: Flexible eating allows customers to indulge in their favourite foods as a part of their prescribed eating plan. This form of eating helps customers achieve nutritional freedom.
High-Protein Low-Carb Diet: This is a high-protein diet which restricts the use of sugary foods, bread and uses complex carbohydrates and substitutes for regular high carbohydrates components.
Commenting on Food Darzee’s expansion to the Pune market, Dr Siddhant Bhargava, co-founder, fitness and nutritional scientist, Food Darzee, said, “We are absolutely delighted to commence our operations in Pune.”
“Through the past couple of years since our inception, we have seen a lot of enquiries coming in about our availability from Pune,” he added.
“Finally, through a lot of efforts we have managed to set up the required logistics to service the demand from the city, flawlessly. It is our vision to expand our operations to all the major metro cities in the country and eventually move on to service a few international markets,” Dr Bhargava said.
He added, “The fitness wave has taken India by storm. People now understand the importance of a balanced and healthy diet, and the role it plays in the achievement of one’s overall fitness goals.”
Post signing up for the Food Darzee subscription, a customer is assigned a nutritionist who understands their fitness and lifestyle regimes and charts out a unique course for one to achieve their health goal.
The assigned nutritionist then acts like a mentor, who constantly maps the progress, follows up regularly and tweaks the plan accordingly.
The diet plan is then sent to the kitchen, wherein every gram of every ingredient is measured making sure that Food Darzee’s maestro chefs prepare exactly what is prescribed.
Food Darzee commenced operations in Mumbai in 2017 and has seen growing positive feedback from the clients who have undertaken their diet plans. Currently, Food Darzee has approximately 3,000 active orders from 700 customers in Mumbai.
