Cornitos achieves 62% export growth with surge in demand in US, UAE, NZ

Faridabad-based Greendot Health Foods, known for its flagship brand Cornitos, has registered 62 per cent growth in its exports. The home-grown brand is one of the few companies to export to the US. The company also currently exports to Nepal, Singapore, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Korea, China, Australia, the UAE, New Zealand and Malaysia.

The brand saw a surge in demand from USA, Australia, China, Singapore, the UAE, Europe and South East Asia, where, USA and Europe witnessed more than 50 per cent hike. The spicy chilli flavour, Peri Peri, has become an international rage and with this newest offering Cornitos is keen to lure snack lovers into a journey of global taste. From Hot Sizzlin Jalapeno to Sweet Thai Chilli there are 10 exotic flavours that open world market for Cornitos. International flavours like Sizzlin Jalapeno, Thai Sweet Chilli, Peri Peri, Tomato Mexicana and Wasabi are in good demand for exports.

Speaking on the achievement, Vikram Agarwal, director, Greendot Health Foods Limited, Cornitos, said, “While we enjoy our successful presence in India, we are also thrilled to be leaving imprints across the world. The response from international markets has been truly overwhelming so far. It is indeed a feat for a home-grown brand to be stocked alongside international brands and winning prestigious global laurels. New additions to Cornitos product range, Tacos and Refried Beans have also witnessed high demand from the US and European markets along with Nacho Crisps. Cornitos reached out to international clients through participation in international food exhibitions like Gulfood, SIAL China, Thaifex, Hofex, FHA in Singapore, Food Taipei, Food Week Korea and Profood.

Cornitos Nacho Crisp is a Mexican snack in international flavours catering to the Indian palate. These flavoured Tortilla Corn Chips are popularly known as 'nachos,' are made by the traditional Mexican lime-treatment process, along with contract farming of special food grade non-GMO yellow corn. They are baked/ cooked in corn oil to golden brown, making it crispier.

It is available in 10 flavours and part of healthy snacking. It  is a 100 per cent corn snack, gluten- free, zero cholesterol, zero trans fats.
