Cargill showcased a range of scalable and market-ready food innovations at Aahar 2026, highlighting solutions aimed at helping food manufacturers navigate rising cost pressures and evolving consumer preferences. The exhibition is being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
Under the theme “Your Possibilities, Our Purpose,” the company presented application-led solutions designed for categories such as bakery, snacks and chocolate. The showcase focused on helping manufacturers address key industry trends including rising demand for protein-rich foods, raw material volatility, premiumisation, expansion of quick commerce and stricter regulatory requirements.
The Cargill booth was inaugurated by Dheeraj Talreja, Vice President & Managing Director, Cargill Food South Asia, along with the company’s leadership team. Talreja said food manufacturers today are balancing growth ambitions with cost pressures and regulatory changes, and Cargill’s focus is on delivering innovations that are technically effective, commercially viable and ready to scale.
At the expo, Cargill highlighted a five-pillar innovation showcase covering health, indulgence, affordability, premiumisation and convenience. The “Healthy for You” segment featured high-protein cookies and bars powered by RadiPure pea protein, along with sugar-reduced cream biscuits and bakery solutions using trans-fat-free fats and high-oleic sunflower oil. The “Elevated Experience” category presented fruit-infused treats and premium chocolates designed to deliver enhanced sensory appeal.
The company also demonstrated premium confectionery applications using its Aalst chocolate portfolio and Gerkens cocoa powders, reflecting the growing consumer demand for indulgent and premium food products in India.
In the affordability segment, Cargill introduced solutions such as oil-reduction frying systems and cost-optimised ingredient blends aimed at helping manufacturers manage margins without compromising product quality. Meanwhile, ready-to-use mixes and instant solutions showcased how food producers can accelerate product development and reduce time-to-market.
The booth also featured a Future-Ready Innovation Zone, highlighting emerging solutions such as EverSweet zero-calorie stevia sweetener, EpiCor postbiotics and a plant-based cocoa alternative currently under development. A dedicated sustainability section highlighted Cargill’s global sourcing credentials, including certifications such as RSPO and Rainforest Alliance.
Through its showcase at Aahar 2026, Cargill emphasised its role as a solutions partner for food, health and nutrition manufacturers across South Asia, combining global expertise, consumer insights and scalable innovations to support the evolving needs of the food industry.
