Brik Oven, the renowned Bengaluru-based pizzeria, has unveiled its latest culinary masterpiece, the Il Panuozzo. Brik Oven will be launching their Il Panuozzo menu and it will be available at all its outlets across Bengaluru. Il Panuozzo is a popular street-food sandwich in Italy that dates back to the early 1980s. The pizza dough is shaped like sandwich bread and filled with the most delicious savoury ingredients.
Combining the beloved flavours of pizza with the convenience of a handheld sandwich, Brik Oven has reimagined the classic Italian dish in a unique and delicious way. The menu consists of six different sandwiches- Caprese, Verdura, Grilled Mushroom and Peppers, Seafood, Chicken Marinara and Roasted Lamb. Each sandwich is a melange of flavours, textures, and some of the yummiest fillings.
The irresistible classic caprese, stuffed with marinated tomatoes, fragrant basil pesto, and luscious house-made mozzarella makes for a staple yet delicious classic Italian feast. Drizzled with a Balsamic reduction and adorned with fresh basil leaves, this sandwich is a delightful symphony of flavours.
Inspired by the ever-popular Shrooms pizza, the Grilled Mushroom And Peppers Il Panuozzo is stuffed with roasted red peppers, sautéed mushrooms, tangy feta, and a touch of jalapeño. This savoury ensemble is a dream come true for mushroom lovers.
The Seafood Il Panuozzo will transport one to the warm sunny beaches of Italy with every bite. Tender calamari and succulent prawns unite with the zesty notes of chimichurri, confit tomato and a touch of garlic.
Last but not least, the roasted lamb Il Panuozzo stuffed with tender, juicy lamb, rosemary potatoes, fresh mint, and grilled onion in one glorious sandwich. The addition of Provolone cheese transforms this masterpiece into a feast in itself.
