Bandra’s Bastian to curate best-of-four menu to commemorate Leap Day

Bastian, the Bandra West restaurant, will commemorate Leap Day (February 29, 2020), with a best-of-four menu that will be served from 7pm. The a la carte menu will comprise the best dishes from their lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch menus from the past four years.
Guests can order the restaurant’s signature small plates, which include vegetarian dishes such as Gluten-free Avocado Toast with pumpkin seed hummus, charred corn pico, roasted beets and avocado, and non-vegetarian ones such as The Lobster Mac in truffle bechamel sauce, panko-crusted to golden perfection; Salmon Jalapeno in ponzu sauce; Bastian’s famous Crispy Chicken Benedict topped with poached egg, spicy aioli, hollandaise sauce, charred vegetables served on a bed of gluten-free waffles.
Diners can also pick from juicy chargrilled options like scallops, prawns, chicken or Paneer.
For the main course, diners can customise their choice of curry from the market menu with sauce options like Black Pepper, Sambal or Singapore Curry with assorted vegetables and a choice of protein options like chicken, prawns, market fish, lobster or deshelled mudcrab.
They can also pick from curry options like Thai Green Curry or Mushroom Tom Kha, with a side of Jasmine rice, Garlic fried rice or Lobster fried rice.
The desserts include Turtle Cheesecake, Hazelnut Crunch Cheesecake, Creme Brulee Cheesecake or the classic Bastian Cake (available by the slice).
Those who would like to have breakfast for dinner can pick from Bastian’s Sunday Brunch classics, which include the Chocolate Chip Waffle/Pancake or the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast.
After the meal, patrons can proceed to One Street to sip on heady cocktails and dance.
