Banaraswala – Ghat Se Ghar Tak, a bootstrapped food brand focused on bringing the flavours of Varanasi to a wider audience, has expanded its footprint with the opening of two new QSR outlets in New Delhi. The expansion follows the successful launch of its first outlet in Varanasi.

With the new outlets, Banaraswala aims to recreate the culinary experience of Varanasi’s ghats and bustling streets through a modern QSR format. The brand’s menu draws from traditional recipes and seeks to make authentic Banarasi flavours more accessible to consumers beyond the city.

The menu features popular Banarasi dishes including Tamatar Chaat, Bedmi Puri Sabzi, Cheena Dahi Bhalle, Launglatta and Banarasiya Lassi, along with a range of other traditional North Indian offerings.

As consumer interest in regional Indian cuisine continues to grow, Banaraswala is positioning itself as a brand that combines traditional culinary heritage with the convenience of modern urban dining. The company focuses on preserving authentic flavours, traditional cooking styles and the cultural associations of its dishes rather than significantly reinventing classic recipes.

Vibhanshu Mishra, founder & CEO of Banaraswala – Ghat Se Ghar Tak, said, “Banaras is unique in terms of its cuisine in the entire country. Each dish is associated with history, culture and emotions that people have grown up with. The idea behind starting Banaraswala was to bring these authentic dishes out of the ghats and reach people who may not have experienced authentic Banarasi food before. The love that people in Varanasi have shown towards our food gave us the confidence to open new branches in the capital city. We aim to create an emotional connect through authentic food.”
