Bagh Tola has launched Founders Camp, its new and most elevated hospitality offering. Created by friends who share a common love for nature and the forests, it builds on Bagh Tola’s longstanding connection with the wilderness of Bandhavgarh, offering a more private and luxurious way to experience one of India’s most celebrated wildlife destinations.
It is set across 30 forested acres in a private reserve adjoining Bandhavgarh National Park. Designed for travellers seeking greater space, privacy and personalised hospitality, the camp features a limited number of generously sized tented suites, combining the atmosphere of a traditional safari camp with the comforts expected of contemporary luxury travel.
The larger accommodation format also makes it particularly suited to families and multi-generational travellers looking to experience the wilderness together. Guests additionally have access to a swimming pool, creating a relaxed space to spend the hours between morning and afternoon safaris.
It extends the wildlife experience well beyond the safari itself. Guests can take part in private safaris, guided forest walks, stargazing, machan viewing, photography experiences and campfire evenings, with its naturalists bringing their knowledge of the region’s wildlife, birds, flora and ecosystems to each experience.
Food is an integral part of the stay, with a culinary programme that draws on both regional traditions and the setting of the camp. Wood-fired meals, jungle-inspired thalis, forest breakfasts and dinners beneath the stars form part of the experience, while a private dining tent and specially curated menus allow meals to be tailored to the pace and preferences of guests.
