Aptech Aviation and Hospitality organises Panorama - seminars, workshops

Aptech Aviation and Hospitality recently organised the second edition of its national event, ‘Panorama’ with an aim to create opportunities for its students using seminars, industry interactions, workshops, peer connect and so on.

The three-day event was inaugurated by Ninad Karpe, CEO and MD, Aptech Ltd; along with Manish Sinha, COO, GMR - Rajiv Gandhi International Airport; Andy Dias, head of operations, CelebiNAS Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd; S K Mohanka, senior commandant, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF); Dr Jagdish Kumar, manager, HRD, and in-charge of the regional training of Western Region, Air India Ltd; Desiree Fernandes, regional HR and admin coordinator for Asia region, Oman Air; and Samiha Saif Al Busaidi, security network & compliance, group security, Oman Air, Muscat International Airport, Sultanate of Oman.

The fun-with-learning event helped students connect and network with top industry people, exposed them to latest trends in the aviation, hospitality & tourism sectors, and took them on an actual flight to prepare them for a high-flying career in the field. It also encompassed practical grooming sessions conducted by elite brand experts. The sessions gave the students insights into the functioning of the industry.

Lakme Absolute conducted grooming workshop for the students and Go Airline Aircraft was chartered wherein 150 plus students were taken for Inflight session.

An awards night-cum-felicitation for industry professionals dedicating their careers to the betterment of aviation, tourism and hospitality industries of the country was held on one of the days. This year, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport clinched two awards under the Best Airport and Upcoming Aviation Professional Award.
