Anggel's Share, in association with Flor de Caña, has announced the inaugural Flor de Caña sustainable cocktail competition. This unique event is part of its global initiative to promote sustainable mixology practices and celebrate the art of bartending.

The brand has taken the lead in hosting this prestigious competition in India. Bartenders from 23 bars across Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi are participating in the competition, which started with a month-long promotion of their curated cocktails at their respective bars.

The significance of this competition being the first of its kind in India lies in its ability to showcase the burgeoning mixology scene in the country. India's bar culture has witnessed exponential growth, with bartenders exhibiting their creativity by crafting innovative cocktails with their unique twists. The competition not only recognises and celebrates the talents of bartenders but also highlights the rising popularity of premium rum in India.

The finals will take place on September 4, 2023. Out of 34 bartenders, 10 finalists will be selected to compete in the India finals. The cocktails will be judged by a panel of three judges.
