Inspired by the grandeur of Victorian-era estates, this resplendent restaurant and bar blends European elegance with the rich cultural tapestry of Rajasthan. This launch marks the debut of a distinguished establishment that seamlessly blends heritage, modern cuisine, and unparalleled luxury for the discerning traveller in the Pink City.
Situated amidst the picturesque landscapes of Jaipur, The Swinton House is a manifestation of a world-class culinary and cocktailing experience. The interiors boast a modern touch, featuring an open courtyard and an inviting bar, adorned with Roman arches and glass panes. Patrons can indulge in the finest sundowners which turn into nights of revelry while savouring the chic ambiance and house special cocktails and canapes.
As one enters the property, they are welcomed by a lush green canopy of exotic plants. The main entrance beckons with a four-sided open bar, adorned with waterfall marble tops lit by warm yellow bulbs and hanging glasses. At the heart of The Swinton House is The Yard, the ground-zero restaurant where international modern cuisine harmoniously merges with the scrumptious flavours of the decadence of Rajasthan. Divided into three distinct areas, The Albion caters to diverse tastes. The cozy family room, replete with big chesterfield sofas and round tables against dark green accented walls, provides an intimate dining experience. As you venture further above, you enter The Albion, a space for after-hours replete with private areas, bold interiors and complemented a special Asian food menu.
The Swinton House brings well-traveled guests a diverse culinary offering that intertwines modern world cuisine with the essence of India's diverse gastronomy. This blend has been meticulously perfected over the years, capturing the essence of traditional and contemporary tastes. Chef Prince Beniwal’s passion for exploring and incorporating regional Indian flavours into global dishes has led to a menu that is both innovative and respectful of its roots; some signature dishes include Moroccan Chicken Kebabs, Cottage Cheese Mousse Nest with Pickled Kataifi, London Fog Run Tiramisu and more.
The bar is an embodiment of innovation and tradition, taking guests on a journey across varied flavours and spirits. The menu has been crafted by the in-house mixologist Ankur who hails from Himachal Pradesh. The signature cocktails are a testament to Ankur’s skills, each a unique story in a glass. He takes pride in using locally sourced ingredients and global spirits and infusing his creations with a hint of Jaipur’s charm.
