Tata I-Shakti Unpolished Dals, a leading name in branded and unpolished dals, has announced that chef Sanjeev Kapoor has been signed on for another three years as the brand ambassador. The celebrity chef who is also an expert in deciphering nutritional value in food products has been associated with the Tata I-Shakti brand since 2012.

The collaboration of two of the most trusted names in the Indian food industry aims to provide consumers with superior quality and hygienic food products.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashvini Hiran, COO, consumer products business, Tata Chemicals, said, “We are happy to extend our association with one of the most admired Indian food connoisseur chef Sanjeev Kapoor for Tata i-Shakti unpolished dals. With consumers becoming increasingly health-conscious, we are glad to have master chef Sanjeev Kapoor to endorse the Tata I-Shakti brand, which aims to offer a wholesome, hygienic and nutritious product to the consumers. This association will continue to enhance our engagement with consumers who seek great tasting food with a healthy dose of nutrients.”

On the extension of his association, Kapoor said, “The Tata I-Shakti brand has lived up to its promise of providing unpolished nutritious dals and the proof of that lies in more and more families choosing Tata I-Shakti over polished dals. The Dal on Call model that aims to facilitate customer ease is also doing exceedingly well and is all set to launch in more cities. I am delighted to continue being a part of this journey as I truly believe that unpolished dal is a clear choice for a healthy family.”
