Manpasand Beverages, one of India’s leading fruit juice companies, signed actor Sunny Deol as the brand ambassador for its flagship brand Mango Sip. The company plans to invest over Rs 100 crore in the next one year as it continues on its fast-paced growth to take its sales from the current Rs 300 crore-plus to Rs 1,000 crore in the next three years.
Deol said, “I am extremely thrilled and honoured to be part of the Manpasand family. I am personally very fond of mangoes, and feel that only an Indian brand like Mango Sip can understand the importance of mango as a whole and make the national fruit the most consumable beverage product in India.”
“Mangoes are loved by all Indians, irrespective of their age, region, religion or caste. It is our duty to address the masses and educate them about the importance that the drink holds,” the actor added.
Dhirendra Singh, chairman and managing director, Manpasand Beverages said, “We are very proud to have Deol as the brand ambassador for our flagship mango juice brand, and are confident that his association will help in significantly increasing the per capita consumption of mango drinks in the country.”
“With a strong presence in Tier-II and III markets, our network is spread across two lakh-plus retail outlets and over 2,000 dealers. Our aim is to double these numbers in a few years and make Mango Sip the most-loved beverage product in India. We will be starting a full 360-degree media campaign shortly,” he added.
