The Narang Group, the leading marketers and distribution partners for premium food and beverage brands in the country, has launched its flagship product QUA from the Himalayan Foothills. Over the next three months, the product will have a national presence.

Indian bottled water industry is estimated to be a whopping Rs 1,000 crore business, growing rapidly over the past four years. Almost 33% of the market constitutes natural mineral water. Two leading players in the market are selling water from the Himalayas, Mount Everest by the Tata group and Mountain Water from the Himalayas by the Bisleri group.

The growing Indian economy and increasing disposable income has helped the consumers change their outlook towards high end brands. There is also trend for the consumers to be more health conscious. QUA caters perfectly to Indian consumers, stated Rahul Narang, MD & CEO

Water constitutes 75% of the human body and it renews itself completely every six weeks. There it is important to ensure that water consumed should be 100% natural.

QUA is 100 natural and well balanced with minerals. It is directly bottled at source in its original state from the pristine and untouched surrounding of the Himalayas. With over decades of natural filtration processes through the mountains and a number of stringent safety tests, QUA reaches its exceptionally natural form. The product is of the highest quality and packaged in a minimalist form to appeal to its target audience, claims the group. The sophisticated and stylish design of the bottle reflects its distinct and inimitable personality.

QUA is currently available as one litre bottles at several premium institutions in Mumbai such as the MARS Group, Intercontinental, Marriott Renaissance, Olive etc. A 500 ml SKU will be launched shortly.

The Narang Group owns and runs hotels, airline catering services, confectionery & bakery outlets, wind power generation, fine dining restaurants, lounges and nightclubs. In addition, the Group also handles some of the world's leading F&B brands in the country, namely Red Bull Energy Drink, Russian Standard Platinum Vodka, Imperial Vodka, Evian Mineral Water, Perrier Sparkling Water, Illy Caffe and 1883 Routin Gourmet Syrups.
