Mother Dairy forays into Rajasthan; ice cream, probiotic yoghurt among offerings

Having established a strong foothold in Delhi and the NCR in the milk and dairy products segment, Mother Dairy is now set to tap Rajasthan (starting with Jaipur) with its entire portfolio of dairy products which include curd; the probiotic range; yoghurt; mishti doi; chaach; lassi; paneer; butter and cheese.
Speaking on venturing into Rajasthan, Subhashis Basu said, “Mother Dairy with its differentiated range of dairy products is confident that we will soon be a part of every Rajasthani household. We have started with the Jaipur market, and are certain that very soon, entire Rajasthan will have a taste and experience of Mother Dairy’s offerings.”
He further added “Having catered to the Delhi market for over three decades, we are now on an expansion mode and wish to make Mother Dairy a pan-India brand. This expansion to Rajasthan is a strategic step, and we are positive that people here will enjoy the goodness of our dairy products. We are already present in Jaipur with ice cream and dairy product launch will complete our portfolio in Jaipur.”
Mother Dairy products will be present in Jaipur through various forms of retail outlets, multi-brand and modern retail.
Mother Dairy’s offerings to Jaipur include:
Ice cream: Mother Dairy offers a range of ice cream. Offerings include Classics (Fruit, Indian and Western Classics); a range of kulfis; Lic Lolleez; Chillz bars and cones, and other value packs.
Curd: Curd is expected to enhance the taste of all preparations; and can also be scooped out and eaten.
Probiotic Range: The probiotic offerings from the Mother Dairy basket include b-Activ Plus probiotic curd; and Nutrifit, a probiotic milk drink.
Misti Doi: Misti Doi (sweetened yoghurt) is available in pack sizes of 90g and 400g.
Chach and lassi: Lassi is offered in bottles as well as poly-packs. They are available in the following variants: plain; sweet; salted, and in fruit flavours such as mango and strawberry. Mother Dairy also offers Tadka Chach at a price point of Rs 5.
Apart from these offerings, Mother Dairy is also launching paneer, kheer, butter, cheese and UHT milk.
