Mondelez India Foods unveils Tang in apple flavour with new sipper bottle

Mondelez India Foods Pvt. Ltd,the erstwhile Cadbury India, has now added the apple flavour Tang to its existing orange, mango and lemon flavours.

According to a release, the company geared up to introduce the new flavour to provide consumers an alternative choice of beverage during the summer months.

The company said that the apple flavour has a fruity taste and is available in an easy and convenient 1 litre bottle pack. Under Tang’s special offering, consumers could get all four flavours of Tang’s 1 litre pack in a user-friendly 1 litre sipper bottle.

Apple flavoured Tang along with the other three flavours is rich with vitamin A, B, C and iron. In fact just one glass of Tang gives a child 60% of the vitamin C his body requires for the entire day.

“Tang has always attempted to give a refreshing, convenient and nutritious experience through each of its innovations. The new apple flavour Tang is no different! Apart from being the ultimate refreshment option that is both tasty and packed with vitamins and iron, the new 1 litre bottle pack, makes it convenient both for mothers and children to make the perfect tasting Tang, in a bottle,” stated Giridhar Ayanur, associate director, marketing, G&C and Powdered Beverage, India, on the brand’s latest development.

“With its great fruit taste and nutritional value, the new one litre sipper bottle enables the mother and the kid to have a glass of Tang whenever they feel like. In fact the kids can now make their own bottle of Tang drink! All they need to do is to fill the bottle with water till the 1 litre mark, empty the whole pack of 1 litre variant/125 gram pack of Tang into it and shake well,” he added.

Tang is ready to be served and can be stored in the refrigerator. A one litre Tang pack of orange, lemon and mango costs Rs 30 and apple is priced at Rs 35. There is also an option to purchase all the four flavours of Tang in a sipper bottle for Rs 125.
