McDonald’s India recently introduced Classic with A Twist (CWT) burgers, including McVeggie Twist and McChicken Twist, at all its outlets. The offer will be valid until November 30, 2014.

The patties would be placed between corn meal-dusted buns, and be accompanied by fresh lettuce, onions, tomato and cheese, topped with onion sauce and seasoned with oregano.

A McVeggie Twist would be priced at Rs 81, and a medium-sized McVeggie Twist value meal, which comprises a medium-sized serving of fries and Coke, is priced at Rs 140. A McChicken Twist would be priced at Rs 93, and a medium-sized McChicken Twist value meal is priced at Rs 150. These West and South India prices are inclusive of taxes.

The launch of these burgers during the festive season, is being communicated through a campaign called Dare to Choose, which invites the consumers to either opt for traditional favourites or experiment with burgers.

The marketing campaign would take a 360-degree multi-channel approach, and would be promoted across television, print, radio and outdoor media, besides social media and mobile phones.

Kedar Teny, director, marketing and digital, McDonald’s, said, “We created these products after almost 4-5 months of product development. The process included quality assurance testing and consumer trials.”
