fiogf49gjkf0d Mumbai’s very own Mahesh Lunch Home made their footprint in Vashi, New Mumbai, by opening a 120-cover branch in Vashi recently. Established in 1977, the eatery has spearheaded Mangalorean food to newer heights. From a humble beginning from their prime restaurant in Fort, Mumbai, Mahesh Lunch Home, has expanded and proudly established eight top-notch restaurants globally.
The new restaurant, just outside Vashi Station, is a 120-cover, has a bar swanked up with air-conditioned comfort and fancy touches which is bearing the same class and pricing of its Fort and Juhu eateries.
If you are in New Mumbai and wanting to trip out on the unerringly fried Surmai, Bombil and Bangda, needless to say where to explore. Thick, flavoursome coconut gassis, accompanied by handkerchief-thin neer dosas and appams, or with the brown, unpolished rice will be the trademark of the Vashi branch too. The crabs are available in butter, pepper garlic or even Schezwan flavours. Other seafood dishes include clams, squids, Rawas Fish Tikka, Fish Balti (choice of fish), Pomfret Tandoori, Chicken and Mutton Sukka too are available. Vegetarians could opt for the likes of Paneer Palak.
“Being the first restaurant in Mumbai to serve authentic Mangalorean food, we occupy a special place for ourselves and our cuisine is in the hearts of our customers,” said Suraj Shetty, partner, Mahesh Lunch Home. As an inaugural offer, for the first month they have happy hours entire day on Indian manufactured foreign liquor (IMFL).
