fiogf49gjkf0d Twenty-six-year-old Saransh Goila, India's youngest celebrity chef, is currently a participant in Sanjeev Kapoor Ke Kitchen Khiladi, Sony Entertainment Television's (SET) new show, which pits families and professional chefs against each other.
He was one of the 16 contestants vying for the title of India Ka Super Chef on Food Food Maha Challenge – aired on the channel, and judged by Kapoor and actress Madhuri Dixit – in 2011. He won the show.
Goila is now an anchor and consultant chef on Food Food. The shows he hosts include Food This Week, The Fit Foodie, and Ching's Special Recipes. He is also a food columnist in the magazine Discover India, and hosts India’s biggest food travelogue show, Roti, Rasta aur India.
He holds the Limca record for being the first Indian chef to travel 20,000km by road in 100 days to discover India’s food heritage and trace its history; has featured on Instant Noodle Diaries on Channel News Asia, Singapore, and covered over 50 on-ground events for various food brands.
Goila has worked as a food stylist for several advertisements helmed by veteran Prahlad Kakkar. He was also the brand ambassador for Austrain kitchenware maker Bergner for eight months in the year 2013.
A food enthusiast from an early age, he made a jalebi for his family at the age of 12. His passion for food grew, and he entered the culinary field with the encouragement of his family (particularly his grandfather).
Goila graduated from the Taj Group of Hotels-run Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Aurangabad, with a bachelor's degree in arts (honours) in the culinary arts in 2008, and trained in the Taj kitchens for six months.

Goila hopes to preserve traditional Indian cooking techniques and food and give them a modern look and character so it is easily accepted by the youth. He also aspires to be an actor, and enrolled in Barry John's Acting Studio in 2010.
