fiogf49gjkf0d The Broderick brothers, Barry and Bernard (who are behind the eponymous brand of wrapped bars and cakes), will launch a range of mini-bites at ISM, one of the world’s largest sweet and snack fair, whose 2014 essay will take place in Cologne between January 26 and 29.
The new mini-bite packs, which will be sold at retail outlets, would contain 36 individually-wrapped mini-versions of their bars, Road Rocking Choc Choc Bloc (Rocky Road), Tiff Toff in the Tuffen (Tiffin) and Caramental (Belgian chocolate caramel shortbread). A bag of 75 mini-bites would also be available for the foodservice sector.
Each of Broderick’s products is hand-made in Ina’s Kitchen Desserts, their bakery in Dublin. Ina’s Kitchen Desserts (which was established by, and named after, their mother, Ina, in 1983) uses high quality ingredients, including Irish butter, Belgian chocolate, home-made caramel and Irish oats.
The demand for Broderick’s full-sized bars continues to rise in the retail and foodservice sectors in Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Russia and Japan. The company’s creative and strong marketing support for its brands is a bonus for them.
Bernard Broderick said, ”These cheeky, indulgent snacks are a natural progression for us, and we see them as one small step for cake-kind. We need a bite-sized treat at times, and these mouthfuls, made from the best Irish ingredients, hit the spot. We are confident that they will be a big hit within the retail and foodservice sectors throughout 2014, as they are attractively packaged and keenly priced to ensure generous profit margins.”
