24 Mantra Organic launches variants in ready-to-cook, snack categories

24 Mantra Organic unveiled  new variants in the ready-to-cook and snacks segments. The ready-to-cook products, which are preservative-free, include biryani, pongal, khichdi, kanda poha, gojji avalaki, ragi idli mix and millet dosa mix, while the snacks, which contain whole grain and spices and are baked, include Desi Mazaa, Pizza Mazaa and Chatpata Mazaa.

N Balasubramanian, the company’s chief executive officer, said it has always aimed to bring quality organic food to each and every household for all meals, and added, “With the addition of the latest variants, we are making it more exciting for our customers to adopt organic meals in a completely convenient and hassle-free way.”

“We are confident that the new products will become popular choices with all our customers,” he stated. As per industry estimates, the ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat segments are worth approximately Rs 600-700 crore and are expected to grow at about 25 per cent. The market for organic food - organised and unorganised - in India is estimated to be worth Rs 3,350 crore and is likely to treble in the next four years.

24 Mantra Organic offers over 200 organic products, including staples, fruit juices, breakfast cereals, teas, jams, spreads and pastes. It plans to launch more variants and foray into newer categories as a part of its effort to serve consumers, farmers and the environment, thereby creating a sustainable ecosystem.

The company, which is twelve years old, works with over 32,000 farmers across fifteen states, convering 1.7 lakh acres of organic cultivation. Its products comply with the standards in the United States, the European Union and India.
