No doubt, Hyderabad is a promising city for us."
McDonald's India is a 50-50 joint venture between the global fast food giant and two domestic companies - Hardcastle Restaurants and Connaught Plaza Restaurants. The company has separate ventures for the west and south region, and north and east region. Launching its first outlet in Mumbai in 1996, the company is present in several northern and western cities now. McDonald's has been the leader in the fast food segment in the last few years. As informal eating out is fast emerging in the country, McDonald's looks at India as one of the key markets in the Asian region, Jatia added.
