HPCL, McDonald's tie up

d McDonald's have teamed up to open a drive through restaurant at the Hinjewadi IT Park in Pune. The outlet, spread over an area of 2,400 sq. ft, has a seating capacity of 116 people. Talking to presspersons, S P Chaudhary, executive director, Retail, HPCL, and Amit Jatia, managing director, Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd and joint venture partner, McDonald's India, said the outlet was the first of its kind in the country.

McDonald's would be opening 10 such outlets in the south and western regions and five in the north and east, taking the total to 15 by the year-end. McDonald's also has strategic tie-ups with Kamat Group Hotels and Café Coffee Day.
