fiogf49gjkf0d Bake Do Teen, a new show hosted by chef Gautam Mehrishi, commenced on Zee Khana Khazana recently. It is aimed at giving baking enthusiasts tutorials in whipping up different kinds of goodies employing simple methods and using cookware found in every kitchen.
Amit Nair, the channel’s business head, said, “Baking has now assumed a very versatile identity as a craft. The one-dimensional view of restricting it to making buns and cakes is passé. With Bake Do Teen, we are keen on not only breaking the conventional norms of baking, but also breaking the myth that it is a restrictive culinary art.”
"One can bake without an oven or a microwave, using everyday ingredients available in your kitchen and the local markets. The show propagates the belief that baking is for everyone,” he added.
“Apart from answering queries by viewers, we shall also invite them on the show. We want the audience’s involvement with Bake Do Teen to not be just confined to watching it, but also as participants,” Nair stated.
