KMF introduces Nandini GoodLife in brik pack

Nandini Milk as a Co-operative National Brand for Dairy Cooperation, has now introduced GoodLife in a one litre brik pack with a shelf life of 180 days. This new packaging format provides consumers the ease of carrying milk anywhere and even consume it instantly without boiling.
The milk is treated with Ultra High Temperature and is packed in a six new layered tamper proof Tetra Brik Package giving it a greater shelf life.
The goodness of GoodLife comes from the best quality milk collected from the hygienically reared Holstein Friesian cows. The pure milk is then immediately processed and packed under clean and sterile conditions which essentially keeps the freshness intact, according to a KMF source.
Before getting packed into the six layered tamper proof, Tetra-Brik Package, Nandini GoodLife is heated to 137 deg C for four seconds and then quickly cooled to room temperature.
This ultra high temperature treatment process makes it cent per cent healthy, added the official. The GoodLife Milk undergoes a special homogenisation process ensuring uniform distribution of fat in the milk, making it more wholesome, consistently thick. The product shelf life of 180 days is achieved by the Tetra Brik Package which seals the freshness inside preventing the entry of air, light and bacteria.
Moreover, GoodLife need not be refrigerated until opened. Combined with the ultra high temperature process, the milk is ready to use without boiling. Consumers just need to open and pour in a glass and drink. The product is available in select retail outlets and supermarkets in Bangalore to begin with.
Nandini which already is famous for curds has also introduced thick set curds prepared from fresh toned milk which can be consumed either directly or by adding sugar. It is available in 200 and 400 gram sealed cups. Moreover, Nandini Special Curds when stored in the refrigerator has a longer shelf life.
