Danone, the French dairy company, which is entering India slowly and steadily, has now started selling dahi and flavored yoghurt in Bangalore. The company has already expanded its presence in Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad in the last one year.
While sources confirmed Danone's forays in Bangalore, the company spokesperson was not available to comment even after repeated attempts. Sources said, "Yes, we have entered Bangalore, and have big plans for the city, going forward."

The company has launched yoghurt, plain dahi, low-fat dahi, and flavoured yoghurt (strawberry, mango and vanilla), along with Danette Smoothie in Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad so far, and now, it has introduced all these in Bangalore.
The company's dairy products are fortified with Nutri4Plus, the four essential nutrients, Iron, Iodine, Zinc and Vitamin A. The company also has presence in mineral water and probiotics through separate joint ventures.
