Our Bureau, Mumbai
The Sequel Greenhouse, located on a farm a few hours outside of Mumbai, will provide fresh, seasonal and healthy produce in baskets in order to give back to the community that shares its labour of love.

Sequel, the brand of restaurants founded by Vanika Choudhary, and renowned for its organic, vegan-friendly, farm-to-fork menu, has currently shut dine-in operations in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, and the farm faces a shutdown too.

The restaurant’s outlets in Bandra and Kala Ghoda, are fortunate to have a network of passionate farmers, who help to bring the best ingredients to the patrons’ plates.

Available on pre-order, the baskets will have offerings like kale, lettuce, bok choy, purple and orange sweet potato, watermelon radish, beets, assorted microgreens, heirloom tomatoes, heirloom cherry tomatoes, aji lemon and habanero peppers and organic eggs, along with immunity-boosting ginger, garlic, oregano and turmeric, to help fortify the immune system and add a dash of flavour.

The vegetable and fruit basket is priced at Rs 1,550.

If patrons wish, they can also add organic eggs to the basket, for a grand total of Rs 2,050; or essentials such as Sequel’s signature granola, house-made sauerkraut, a loaf of freshly-baked sourdough bread and organic eggs, for a grand total of Rs 3,500, making it a one-stop-shop for all your culinary needs.
