The Sleeve Cartoning machine designed & developed by Pampac, enables insertion of blisters into a sleeve, without end closures or tuck-in flaps. Its detailed features are as follows:
Features and specifications Structure
●The machine frame is constructed in sandblasted, stress-relieved and painted MS fabrication.
●The ergonomic structure has been designed in user-friendly style, so that female operators would be able to use it on a daily basis.
●No changeover parts are required for different blister sizes; it is a Universal machine.
●The surfaces of the machine parts are protected either by plating or painting.
●The machine is effectively guarded with safety features, that complies with latest safety norms.
●As an option, the machine can be offered with a stainless steel finish
Blister Transfer
●The blister transfer feature allows blisters to be collected in a stationery magazine through a conveyor link from the Blistering machine.
Carton Feeding
●The carton magazine of the SLV is designed to hold approximately 1500 cartons, sufficient for 5 minutes operation at full speed.
●Low carton material levels in the machine set off an audible alarm. If the machine is not restocked within a preset time, it stops functioning till replenished.
Carton Inspection Systems (Optional)
●The Sleeve Cartoning machine has carton variable code inspection facility.
●It can also verify bar code or any other special code recognition requirement.
Cartoner Reject Function
●The cartoner only accepts good packs. Unacceptable cartons will be rejected
●The machine will interface between the reject system and the machine detection systems. (Optional)
●Carton variable data and carton product identity code will be verified and rejected via air-blow rejection.
Low Compressed Air
●The machine will stop if low compressed air is detected.
Cartoner Format Parts
●The machine is designed to avoid format parts for different sized blisters or sleeve carton output. However the blister receipt magazine changes as a function of different blister sizes. The maximum output of the machine is 300 sleeves per minute.
Machine Set-Up and Change Over
●The machine can be set up and changed over by a single operator with a simple tool.
●The changeover is repeatable subject to the components being within specifications.
●The set-up and changeover time is minimal; format-to-format change over is 15-20 minutes
Safety
●The machine is guarded with:
-Translucent guard of Acrylic or Polycarbonate
-Guards are interlocked with machine operation
●Emergency Stop buttons are provided in areas where operators are routinely situated
●The machine is designed so that operators are safe when loading materials or components
Product / Component Clearance
●The machine is designed specifically to aid clearance of product and pack components. The product path is visible at all times.
Cleaning
●The construction of the system/equipment, materials of construction and component assembly allows extremely efficient cleaning.
