Pushpam starts beverage manufacturing unit at Pune

Pushpam Foods and Beverages Pvt. Ltd, part of the Pushpam Group, Pune, has set up its first-of-its-kind contract manufacturing and private label beverage manufacturing unit in cans and PET bottles for the first time in India. This state-of-the-art plant is ISO 9001-, ISO 22000- and HACCP-certified and is located at Nandur, about 40 km from Pune city, in the state of Maharashtra.
The unit has successfully commenced manufacturing of various products like energy drinks, fruit drinks and juices, diet drinks, kids’ drinks, non-alcoholic beverages and vitamin-flavoured water. The highlight of this multi-product processing facility is that it is capable of manufacturing all kinds of juices, drinks and water-based products, both with and without carbonation, under one roof.
The fully automatic can line can handle all can sizes of 190 ml, 250 ml slim can, 330 ml and 500 ml cans for carbonated beverages as well as non-carbonated products using liquid nitrogen technology. PET bottle filling line consists of a fully automatic online rotary blowing machine where bottles are blown and hot filled / packed continuously in sizes from 250 ml upto 1.2 litre. The PET line can handle both 28 mm and 38 mm neck sizes.
Pushpam has lined up a complete range of services for the market entrants as well as established brand-owners. The services include new product development, sourcing and complete product manufacturing.
