Ingredia to showcase dairy and health ingredients

Ingredia, a French dairy company specialising in manufacturing and developing functional dairy ingredients as well as health ingredients, will showcase them at Fi Europe in hall 3 - stand P 103.

Ingredia proposes a large range of dairy ingredients specially adapted to the chocolate manufacture. Prochoc S26, Prochoc S26+ and Prochoc R26 improve the flow properties of the chocolate thanks to their free fat content (from 30% to 75%).

Ingredia will display another range of functional mixes for ice creams. Ingredia developed Procream 151 AS, which reduces significantly the formulation costs when mixed with starch by-product. Procream 500 is a brand new booster of functionalities in ice-creams recipes.

In yogurt applications, Promilk 350 F is recommended for low fat set yogurts while Promilk 350 D is suitable for fat set yogurts. Promilk 420 A is recommended for low fat stirred yogurts while Promilk 500 G and Promilk 490 are advised for both low fat and fat stirred yogurts.

As to cheese applications, Ingredia developed a complete expertise of the fresh cheese without whey separation technology, including the process and the recipe. Promilk 852 A1 is a Milk Protein Isolate specifically adapted to this technology thanks to its mineral ratio and its very good hydration capacity.

Ingredia has recently built a new range of nutritional ingredients, designed for dietary supplements, nutrition and functional foods. It is composed of bioactive ingredients, such as lactium™, a milk protein hydrolysate with relaxing properties. Lactoferrin, a milk-glycoprotein having a powerful natural protection action against invading pathogens, is a brand new ingredient in Ingredia's range of product. Colostrum, one of Ingredia's specialties, is the first cow milk which is very concentrated in bio-actives proteins and thus has immunity activity.

Ingredia also proposes native milk proteins specially designed for nutrition purposes. Prodiet 852 A and Prodiet 852 B, are native Milk Protein Isolates with very well-balanced amino-acid profiles and naturally rich in calcium, which enhance weight loss or muscular health. They are suitable for clinical products (enteral nutrition) thanks to their high microbiological quality. Finally, Prodiet 852 FB is a premium isolate of native and soluble milk proteins, extracted directly from milk. It is characterised by its superior content of Branched Chain Amino Acids and tryptophan.
