Dairy Day launches premium tubs of ice cream in 3 flavours for Dussehra

Dairy Day, a leading ice cream brand, has unveiled mini premium tubs in three flavours, viz. Gajar Halwa, Gulab Jamun and Rose Kulfi, for Dussehra.

While Rose Kulfi is a creamy and milky ice cream, blended with rose petals that give a unique texture and flavour, Gajar Halwa is creamy with a perfect colour and texture, and the Gulab Jamun variant, according to the company, is perfect for the festive mood.

These 250ml tubs are priced at Rs 80, and are available across 30,000 plus outlets in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and parts of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Goa.

M N Jaganath, director, Dairy Day, said, “Dussehra symbolises the triumph of good over evil. It is a time of joy and happiness. In India, sweets are a significant element in our cuisine, it is an important part our culture and celebrations.”

“Dairy Day’s Gajar Halwa, Gulab Jamun and Rose Kulfi are a unique blend of ice cream and sweets that are prepared using traditional recipes that preserve the authentic flavours of the product,” he added.

Other products in the company’s mini premium tub series include Lush Lychee and Alphonso Mango.

The company was founded in 2002 to manufacture and supply approximately 150 products in over 30 flavours. The range of products include a variety of cups, cones, sticks, tubs and other novelties.

It has has two state-of- the-art manufacturing units in Karnataka, spread over 2 lakh sq ft with a production capacity of 1.4 lakh litre per day. The production plant is ISO compliant (ISO-22000- 2005 [FSMS]) and supervised every day by an expert team of dairy technologists, food technologists and microbiologists.
