Ananda launches 105 COCO stores, expanding footprint in Northern India

Ananda, a leading dairy and dairy product manufacturer, unveiled 105 company owned, company operated (COCO) stores in the region of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), with the objective of expanding its footprint in the Northern India market.

With the vision to deliver quality milk and milk products to a larger customer base, the company has made an investment of over Rs 5 crore to make this record-breaking single-day store launch event successful.

The launch of these stores is in line with Ananda’s vision to give consumers direct access to a wide variety of nutritious and pure milk and milk products.

The company, with its focused approach towards rapid expansion, is all set to chalk its strategy to eye a bigger piece of the market.

It anticipates launching over 500 COCO stores whilst achieving a projected turnover of Rs 1,500 crore by the end of financial year 2018. Further, it is targeting an overall growth of 30 per cent with its company outlets.

R S Dixit, chairman, Ananda Group said, “The legacy of Ananda had humble beginnings, and it is our vision to deliver only the best and most nutritious products to our consumers, that has brought us to this milestone today.”

“We are delighted to unveil our 105 COCO stores, bringing the world of Ananda, including our diverse product range, as well as our expertise, closer to our consumers,” he added.

“With this step forward, we are determined to further take the purity and goodness of milk products, and the joy they bring, to even more consumers. By the end of 2018, we aim to expand to 500 Ananda stores across Northern India,” Dixit said.

“With this massive single-day launch, Ananda is aiming to give its consumers a holistic experience, by opening up the company’s entire fresh and wide range of products, including confectionery and bakery items for them to purchase,” he added.

“Moreover, well-trained professionals, who are able to guide consumers to the right products, based on their unique dietary requirements, will staff the stores,” Dixit informed.

“Ananda’s philosophy is to create happier consumers through a product portfolio that adds positive value to their health and contribute to their overall well-being,” he added.

Set up in the year 1989 in Bulandshahr, Ananda has steadily grown in production capacity, and today offers over 50 products in its portfolio.

Its quality-controlled milk processing centres continue to grow in capacity to ensure a sustainable supply of 100 per cent pure and fresh products at affordable prices to consumers.
