Rossell India to acquire Namsang Tea Estate from Dhunseri at Rs 28.29 cr

Rossell India Ltd has entered into an agreement with Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea Ltd for acquisition of their Namsang Tea Estate, P O Jeypore, District Dibrugarh, Assam, "as a going concern” for an agreed consideration of Rs 28.29 crore. The estate has the capacity to produce around 7.30 lakh kg of black tea.

With this acquisition, the total tea estates owned by the company in Assam stand enhanced to six with total production of 51 lakh kg of black tea in a year.
