Centre approves continuation of primary food processing schemes during 11th plan period
On Thursday October 1, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved various food processing schemes for continuation during 11th plan period.

Widen the funds inflow for food processing: MOFPI
The food processing industry is suffering from low allocation of funds. In the 11th five-year Plan funds amounting to Rs 4,031 crore had been allotted to the industry. The allotment is almost double the amount assigned in the previous Plan.
