UAS sees acute manpower shortage in bakery sector
India’s bakery industry is facing an acute shortage of trained personnel. There is a serious mismatch in terms of availability of baking skills to the number of bakeries which are coming up in the country, according to Dr S V Suresha, coordinator, Bakery Training Unit, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore.

The project envisages setting up a dairy with a capacity of 1 lakh litres per day at Dehri-On-Sone in Rohtas district on turnkey basis. On May 05th, 2011, bids were invited for supply, installation and commissioning of plant and machinery and design, engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of entire equipments.
