India can become the food supplier of the world. The country has a huge opportunity to become a leading global food supplier if only it has the right marketing strategies and of course efficient supply & cold chains management.

Rising interest in supply and cold chain financing in emerging markets: IFC
A new study by the US-based International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and Nordic business consultancy Capacent shows that suppliers in emerging markets are interested in solutions for supply and cold chain financing to help them find affordable financing.

KAPPEC clears two cold storage units, chips in equity of Rs 11.95 crore for both projects
Karnataka State Agricultural Produce Processing & Export Corporation Limited (KAPPEC) is investing a total of Rs 11. 95 crore in two cold storage units in the state. The first is the Belgaum Integrated cold storage unit for fruits and vegetables to be set up by the Belgaum Agro Pvt. Ltd at an investment of Rs 5.08 crore.

DRI launches arctic coolers for industrial & commercial buildings
