Zongshou appointed Chinese chef at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar’s JW Cafe

Zongshou Chen has been appointed as the new Chinese chef at JW Café, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. With a career spanning over 10 years, he will lead the Chinese kitchen at JW Cafe, ensuring that guests relish an authentic and consistently high-quality culinary experience and focussing on honing his culinary brigade’s gastronomic skills. Zongshou’s most recent stint was at The Oberoi Hotel in Gurgaon, Haryana, in 2014. During his multiple expeditions across these properties, he mastered cooking Sichuan dishes, Cantonese dishes; Hunan dishes and Beijing roast duck. He did his culinary schooling in Beijing and started working as a professional chef with Hua Xia Ju Long Restaurant in Beijing in 2000. In 2006, he joined as a chef at Xuan Wu Men Hotel in Beijing.
Zongshou later moved to Chun Hui Yuan Resort in 2010 and Ri Jin Restaurant in 2011. He then relocated to Sun Island Resort and Spa, Maldives, in 2012 and to Meng Jin Restaurant, Inner Mongolia, in 2013.
