Tilda Riceland launches 8 varieties of Pure rice

Other than Basmati varieties, Tilda offers two products in the long grain category and one each in the regional and broken category including Khush Long Grain and Premium Parmal fall under the long grain variety while Sona Masoori is regional South Indian variety rice and Chamak, Chota Basmati or as is known as broken Basmati. Commenting on his company's entry in the Indian market, Rajnish Ohri, vice-president, Tilda Riceland, said, "Tilda Basmati rice is all about Purity. Our commitment is to produce the finest Basmati rice and to give the consumers the best."
Ohri said that understanding consumer tastes and cuisine based cooking the company offers its customers a complete range of different varieties to choose from. Like Tilda Wandaful Basmati is perfect rice for preparing Biryanis. Tilda globally believes in consumer empowerment and building longlasting consumer relationships and in India it will be no different.
Tilda's ranges of rices come in pack sizes of 1 kg, 5 kg, 20 and 25 kg and is available at Spencer's, Big Apple, Sabka Bazaar, Big Bazaar and Subhiksha outlets. Grown the traditional way in the foothills of the Himalayas, Tilda Basmati promises to deliver everything that a pure Basmati grain is priced for, aroma, unmistakable white colour, texture, grain elongation and fluffiness. Priced competitively, Tilda Pure Basmati ranges from Rs 40 to Rs 80 per kg and non-Basmati ranges from Rs 25 to Rs 50 per kg.
According to company sources, Tilda Riceland operates with two sites presently functioning from Samana in Kurukshetra, which was established over two decades ago and the Gurgaon facility, which is a state-of-the-art facility spread over 66 acres of land on the Delhi-Jaipur highway.
