Britannia Industries Ltd, one of the leading food brands with the largest variety of biscuits in the country, has launched 3 new flavours to its "Tiger Creams" brand. The new range includes Butterscotch, Strawberry and Pineapple flavours.

Britannia Tiger Creams was launched in 2005 in 3 flavours - Orange, Chocolate and Elaichi. Anuradha Narsimhan, category director for health and nutrition, Britannia, said, "Tiger Cream promises to offer the most in every way to all children -- maximum value for money, where children enjoy 6 flavours, 10 biscuits in 3designed packs. The range of biscuits also offers maximum nutrition through fortification (Iron Zor) which is our bid towards addressing iron deficiency, a national concern among our children." Britannia has also increased the number of biscuits to 10 at Rs 5 per pack.

The company will be using metallised packs which will help enhance the shelf life and quality of the product. "Through this new range we extend the celebration of indulgence and health in an affordable price range," Narsimhan added. The popular biscuit brands are Marie Gold, Good Day, Tiger and 50-50 which contribute about 90% of Britannia's total turnover.
