After fruit juice and milk, you can now enjoy whisky in tetra-pack. Courtesy, UB Group, for the first time in India, has made liquor available in 180ml under the brand name Bagpiper Bindaas. Moreover, it is priced at Rs 3 less than the 180ml bottle. According to UB Group Brand Manager Sourabh Bajaj, " We are initially launching it in Maharashtra and would subsequently take it to other states. The end consumer price in a glass bottle is Rs 57 and in a tetrapack it would be Rs 54."
Bagpiper had sold close to 8 million cases in the last financial year to emerge as the largest spirit brand in the country. It commanded a market share of 30% in the Indian market, more than twice that of its close competitor, a UB Group release said.
