The National Horticulture Board (NHB), in consultation with the ministry of non-conventional energy sources, is working on a feasibility study to permit mushroom crops on rooftops in urban and peri-urban residential areas with the support the residential welfare associations. This was stated by Rajender Kumar Tiwari, managing director, NHB.
