Govt imposes ban on 12 pesticides; Six others to be restricted in 2020

The Government of India has banned the use of 12 pesticides with immediate effect for agriculture purpose. It added that six other pesticides had been identified for restriction of use from 2020. The government has, in this regard, issued a notification.
