Maikada, the sophisticated and inviting progressive bar & lounge, has announced its grand debut at The Shalimar Hotel in the vibrant Kemps Corner neighbourhood. Derived from the Persian word for Bar, it brings a rich heritage and modern twist to the forefront of Mumbai's cocktail scene.
With a name chosen by the founder's grandfather, it holds sentimental value and symbolises a full-circle journey of reviving its glory with a contemporary touch. Yash Advani, founder, has partnered with Ritik Bhasin, Shashi Thadani, and Sunny Sara from the Orion group, to introduce this unique dining establishment.
Cocktail craftsmanship takes centre stage; meticulously curated by experienced mixologists, the cocktail menu offers a selection that promises an unparalleled drinking experience, blending tradition with innovation.
The signature Maikada Sriracha, blending Tequila, Honey-infused Sriracha, and Lime with Cucumber Juice, presents a tantalizing twist on classic flavours. Additionally, the Watermelon Basil Gin Sling offers a refreshing combination of Gin muddled with fresh Watermelon, Basil leaves, and topped with Soda, while Shashi's Hot Toddy, featuring Brandy, Cloves, Honey, Cinnamon, Lime, and Hot Water, provides a comforting warmth.
The food menu boasts an eclectic array of dishes, including the tantalizing Chicken Gyoza, the indulgent Avocado Papdi Chaat, the savory Lamb and Cheese Slider, and the aromatic Tofu Basil.
