Tata Sampann spices were launched in Mumbai recently. Following a phase-wise roll-out plan, the spices have been available in the northern and eastern markets since last year and will be available nationally before the end of the year. It is available in a 5-in-1 freshness pack where each 100g pack is divided into five packs of 20g each to preserve its aroma, taste and colour.

A 45g tester pack has been launched in Mumbai. The offerings comprise eleven products, ranging from everyday spices, such as chilli and turmeric powder, to specific blends, such as Dal Tadka Masala and Punjabi Chole Masala. These spices have been formulated by chef Sanjeev Kapoor, who is the brand ambassador of Tata Sampann spices.

Tata Sampann spices are sourced from the best of origins. For instance, turmeric is sourced from Salem and chilli is sourced from Andhra Pradesh. Pepper, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg and clove are sourced from Kerala. The spices are planned to be made available through Tata Salt’s distribution network, which spans across 120 million family units in India.
